Third party software programmers have been busy finding a way to cope with the speed and mechanics of RUSH poker, which was recently introduced at Full Tilt Poker to much popularity. From day one Holdem Indicator was able to capture odds and hole card information but had trouble keeping up with profiling information at every table switch.

Holdem Indicator has been busy at work trying to get a RUSH poker compatible edition on the market, and it is now ready as the game itself, operates with remarkable speed and accuracy. However it's not the only product making adjustments for RUSH poker.

Holdem Manager was the first to make an adjustment in it's capturing capabilities for Rush Poker and introduced a way around the challenge by using the notes features with some additional constraints as noted from the programmers:
Rush Notes:
1. The tables need to be sized appropriately. (600 - 750 range) If your Rush table is outside of that range a pop-up message in the HUD window will advise you.
2. Make sure your HUD doesn't overlap names on the table. We're using a screen scrape method for various reasons and the names must be visible so we can read them.
3. Most performance issues can be resolved by changing the table window size. See #1.
4. If you play on multiple monitors you need to keep your Rush table on the primary monitor otherwise HMHUD will crash. See ***Update*** below.
This isn't an official release, we just think the RUSH HUD is at a level where people can start using it. So far so good with our internal testing and that's why we've soft launched this here. If you have problems, please post in this thread and we'll address the problems. Eventually this thread will be locked, but please post feedback in the mean time.
The multi-monitor HMHUD.exe crash being reported is fixed, unfortunately it broke a few things too. We could pull this build or keep it out for you guys and we decided to keep it out so people can use the RUSH HUD. We're working on tidying up the problems the fix introduced and we don't expect the next update to be released for a day or so.

Then Poker Tracker came out with what was intended to be a fully working version of their HUD for Rush poker, but there seems to be some quirks still to work out as noted in their forum:
When I initially installed this version my HUD stats would update right away so I can see info for current player. I took a couple days off/ manually imported some HH files from Holdem manager. Now when I go to play today the stats don't match the player, they match the player a few hands back. What's the deal?
Exactly my problem. I keep contacting support with problems regarding to rush but once one problem is fixed another problem follows. Was this problem ever resolved? What was the fix? Beta 30.5 should work properly for most users for Rush poker. The fix details are highly technical but it should be working now for most people (Windows XP 64 users will need to wait until Beta 30.6 which we hope to have out soon), and you can get Beta 30.5 from our download page.
However they seem to be working on this problem and fix should be ready go any day.

As of February 9th, Holdem Indicator has a fully working function that supports Rush Poker. The update solves the problem of collecting hand data even when you leave the table with the quick fold button. In other words, when you see your lousy 72os and then click on quick fold, the entire action of that hand will be added to Holdem Indicator database, so the next time you end up at any table with one of those players, his stats from that hand will be your profiling grid.

I was able to play a few different games at the Mach 1 Rush tables which had about 1,100 players rotating at the time. After about 20 minutes stats started showing up on my opponents because during this session I had already sat with them for several hands. (1). So you are going to get some data on your opponents and they way they appear on your Holdem Indicator profile display is one at a time when they make their play (bet, fold, call) in turn. The data will immediately show up in Holdem Indicator.

Of course as an added bonus you get to keep track of all of you activity during your session, even if you rebuy in. Holdem Indicator will take that into account and keep you up to date of all of you RUSH tables in play.

Not to mention keeping up instantly with accurate win odds and pot odds on any given hand. The new version of Holdem Indicator is a free upgrade included in their lifetime license policy.

Online poker hasn't really been around for too long, maybe a decade or so, but as soon as it was, clever programmers were thinking about designing poker tools that could not only produce a winning edge for a player, but stretch the meaning of fair play.
Well the best poker software tools have survived an era of audacious claims made by many fly-by-nighters. Poker software like Poker Tracker, Holdem Manager and Tournament Indicator have achieved real staying and power market share largely due to following the rules set out by online poker rooms such as Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars, yet they have displayed evidence of creating clear advantages for those who use the tracking software.
