Community cards can often turn your seemingly strong hand into an ugly underdog if you aren’t paying attention. This is often the case when playing painted connectors such as here in the Midnight Madness poker tournament where I have KQ of diamonds in the big blind.

Online poker sites offer a wide range of sit and go poker tournaments for players of all skills and bankrolls. I highly recommend new players start in the sit and go circuit so as to make the most of their deposit, limit their risk, and learn the game as you go. Some sit and go tournaments actually start at under a dollar! Just go to your poker site lobby and look for the sit and go section. They all have them. For me I decided to play this 6 seated sit and go tournament. A lot of the 6 seated sit and go tournaments can be played for tokens to bigger tournaments as well.

Online poker hasn't really been around for too long, maybe a decade or so, but as soon as it was, clever programmers were thinking about designing poker tools that could not only produce a winning edge for a player, but stretch the meaning of fair play.

Poker tells are the visual clues you get from opponents when you are playing them face-to-face. There have been many debates as to what certain facial expressions, body movements, eye contact and even verbal responses might mean in regards to what hand your opponent is holding.

These are typical stats for winning cash game players as noted by Phdrs in the poker forum. The players tab on HM lets you do this. You don't get nearly as many hands, but the hands you do get gives you a lot more information. I tend to use a minimum sample size of 5K hands. On my NL100 data base, that returns 33 players. You can sort by bb/100 and look at the main stats of your to 5 to 10 players, which in my DB shows pretty similar sorts of ranges.

Question for poker calculator programmers: So why it is not possible to create some player account into Tournament Indicator? This way stats would be split. Or another solution would be if TI was smart enough to recognize the type of game at least the type of table (2 6 9 10 handed table) and this way discriminate the stats.

If you have played sit and go tournaments online (if not, why not?), you have likely also used Sharkscope at one point or another. They have a free 5 day search limited, and pretty much unlimited paid version for about $10 a month. One of it's best researching features, is that you can cue up any of your opponents and graphically see what their sit and go performance has been to date.Once looking at a graph, I can tell you a LOT about any particular player, and this is information you can take right to the table. Here is a bit about Sharkscope and profiling characteristics.

Poker software review quotes:

Online poker hasn't really been around for too long, maybe a decade or so, but as soon as it was, clever programmers were thinking about designing poker tools that could not only produce a winning edge for a player, but stretch the meaning of fair play.

Well the best poker software tools have survived an era of audacious claims made by many fly-by-nighters. Poker software like Poker Tracker, Holdem Manager and Tournament Indicator have achieved real staying and power market share largely due to following the rules set out by online poker rooms such as Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars, yet they have displayed evidence of creating clear advantages for those who use the tracking software.
