"These two factors together can help you make better decisions at the poker tournament table."

When you are trying to gauge implied odds in no limit poker tournaments online, you must take into account how you have been profiling your opponent and his likely actions at different stages of the hand. Using a poker calculator, while you are playing can often help you make much better implied on decisions, because you get to comprehend with a reasonable amount of accuracy, what you can potentially earn from your opponent.

If your opponent has a high aggression factor and you can expect him to be putting money in the pot without much help on your end.  A player like this can often be trapped into creating bigger pots when the flop is nowhere near them. There's nothing wrong with having a high aggression factor, as long as that opponent has some sort of pot control.

In the tournament indicator poker calculator there are balance and and streak indicators that will clearly show your opponent's propensity to play large pots and if that player may be tilting are not after a big loss, or successive losses that can frustrate a player just as bad.

This one may sound pretty basic but if your opponent is in the orange Mzone is much more likely to throw a stack out in hopes of getting you to fold or put on a bluff.  On the other hand, if the stack is too short space for instance, in the red Mzone, well then you're implied odds are limited.  You have to be aware of how much he has in his stack, no matter how poorly he plays, in order to determine your maximum gain. I will often make more questionable calls in position, when I know my opponent has a generous stack, and had generous attitude to go along with it.

Don't forget about the went to showdown percentage factor either. Although this player may be more up calling station, you can use that against him to improve your implied odds situation by value betting your strong hands, and getting the most from him on every street.

It's one thing to have a poker calculator opened when you are playing tournaments, it's quite another to look down in the statistics area and actually use that information to your benefit. That is simply because human nature, often overrides empirical data that could be serving you much better.

At Most players fall victim to emotion and in patients during the tournament, especially at critical moments.  When you're talking about implied odds however, if you can get a solid foundation of using that data, over and above any emotional highs and lows you experience in the tournament space you will simply always have an advantage over the vast majority of your opponents.

Poker software review quotes:

Online poker hasn't really been around for too long, maybe a decade or so, but as soon as it was, clever programmers were thinking about designing online poker software tools that could not only produce a winning edge for a player, but stretch the meaning of fair play.

Well the best poker software tools have survived an era of audacious claims made by many fly-by-nighters. Poker software like Poker Tracker, Holdem Manager and Tournament Indicator have achieved real staying and power market share largely due to following the rules set out by online poker rooms such as Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars, yet they have displayed evidence of creating clear advantages for those who use the tracking software.
