The latest full tilt poker software update has introduced a variety of changes, including the ability to Run It Twice in RUSH cash games stakes of $1/$2 and higher.
Running it twice became popular in big cash games on television over the last couple of years as a way to soften the blow of big swings when two players were all in on after the flop generally. The players would then agree to run it twice meaning the turn and river cards were dealt for hand one, then discarded, then dealt again for hand two. This could ease the sting of a bad beat, but it could also give the underdog an opportunity to get out of the situation unscathed. In the update, both players have to agree to run it twice, and then the poker software will figure out how the pot is divided.
Other improvements in this poker software update include the ability to create private tournaments where before you would have had to go through email support to do this.
Ring game tickets can now be bought with Full Tilt Points, meaning if you go bust and all you have left is a few FTPs, you can buy your way into a cash game with Ring Game Tickets ranging from $10 to $200. Just so you know a $10 ticket will cost you 3,175 FTPs.
There are new custom bet features available for your slider options which allow you to customize bet size buttons for pre-flop AND different sizes for post-flop.
The options menu seems to have been reorganized as well with what seems to be and simpler structure.
Also the pro bounties for those crazy multi-entry tournaments have been capped at $50/ head. That must have been costing FT a lot of money as even they could not have figured how much donkey play was going to happen in the MEs - at any level!

Online poker hasn't really been around for too long, maybe a decade or so, but as soon as it was, clever programmers were thinking about designing online poker software tools that could not only produce a winning edge for a player, but stretch the meaning of fair play.
Well the best poker software tools have survived an era of audacious claims made by many fly-by-nighters. Poker software like Poker Tracker, Holdem Manager and Tournament Indicator have achieved real staying and power market share largely due to following the rules set out by online poker rooms such as Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars, yet they have displayed evidence of creating clear advantages for those who use the tracking software.
