By changing your own ID at certain intervals, you essentially become an unknown. Since Tournament Indicator poker software added the replayer feature I have started using it more and more to not only analyze my own play, but to analyze the situation from the perspective of my opponents as well. With all of the profiling data available I can now review with a much better grasp with what type of players I am dealing with too. So here is a typical situation that I tend to look over once the tournament is done, to see if I, or my opponents could have played better. Would you beleive.... pocket Jacks? ;-)

Poker Stars is a normally reliable provider when it comes to updating their poker software, but today's update seems a little out of character for the pre-Black Friday poker giant. BryanS the resident PokerStars communicator that basically hangs out at 2+2 all day, reported in that forum that the latest software update has a major issue which prevents proper operation of the poker software.

Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker have been charged by the US District Attorney from New York, targeting the founders of those sites for illegal gambling activities. Several of the poker sites home page's have been replaced by messages from the FBI claiming the domain name has been seized.
