Recently, some poker software operators have offered different levels of ID changing for it's online player database. Such as feature allows for two major implications in the game. By changing your own ID at certain intervals, you essentially become an unknown. Imagine going into a poker room you have been frequenting for years and everyone at all of the tables had a paper bag over their head. Anonymous poker, indeed.

Since Tournament Indicator poker software added the replayer feature I have started using it more and more to not only analyze my own play, but to analyze the situation from the perspective of my opponents as well. With all of the profiling data available I can now review with a much better grasp with what type of players I am dealing with too. What looks to be a complete overhaul of Holdem Manager, HM2 is now in BETA available by application. The release was announced on the Holdem Manager blog along with a video showing hi-lights of the new update.

A new HotKeys program has been released called TableDroid. At present the v1.0 is only available for Party Poker. The product has launched with a very professional looking website and can be purchased using PayPal for $60 USD. This includes a 2 computer licence and lifetime product updates along with free customer support.

Poker Stars is a normally reliable provider when it comes to updating their poker software, but today's update seems a little out of character for the pre-Black Friday poker giant. BryanS the resident PokerStars communicator that basically hangs out at 2+2 all day, reported in that forum that the latest software update has a major issue which prevents proper operation of the poker software.

Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker have been charged by the US District Attorney from New York, targeting the founders of those sites for illegal gambling activities. Several of the poker sites home page's have been replaced by messages from the FBI claiming the domain name has been seized.

It has been reported on the Pocket Fives poker forum that a Full Tilt player has been temporarily suspended from the site for using Poker Edge, a poker software product that violates it's terms of use.
