It has been reported on the Pocket Fives poker forum that a Full Tilt player has been temporarily suspended from the site for using Poker Edge, a poker software product that violates it's terms of use.
Poker Edge is a data-mining profiling tool that players can use to view historic statistics of their opponents. Although many other poker software tools do this as well, Poker Edge uses a shared database of profiling data and that is why many poker sites, including PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Party Poker have all banned the product for use.

Poker Edge programmers realize their software is not allowed on these poker sites and have built-in procedures for playing undetected. For example if you are a PokerStars player, you would first boot up Poker Edge and then load PokerStars within the frame-work of Poker Edge. That prevents the poker site from determining if you are using poker software that is not approved by them.
Apparently, the user in this case had no idea that Full Tilt Poker has banned the use of Poker Edge and took no precautions when loading the software. His post can be read here: http://www.pocketfives.com/f7/poker-software-634160/
Poker Edge (and a skin named Poker Crusher) are both on Full Tilt Poker's prohibited software list under the section describing shared hand histories. This is the section from that page:
