Holdem Indicator poker calculator software has been growing with the sophisticated needs of the poker market over the years, constantly keeping abreast with the frequent poker site updates along the way. The software provides the most flexible layout choices in the market as well. Theses quick-change options include the standard horizontal view, the upright vertical view, the minimal view, the pop-out profile grid, and resizable views that automatically adjust to your poker table size at any given moment.
Now due to popular demand, the team of programmers at Holdem Indicator have added an HUD option. HUD is an acronym for Head-Up display, allowing for a transparent overlay of your poker table which shows the critical data that you are used to relying on with Holdem Indicator stats. All of the stats can be seen in the HUD, and with this new feature you also have the option of choosing which stats are displayed.

You can now actually use ONLY one or Both the HUD and Main window display of HI. You will also be able to customize the stats you want to appear, while doing a simple roll-over to display the player’s full array of data. You can adjust the position and colors of the HUD font to suit your table background conditions. The reliable profile icons HI users are used to, are displayed prominently in front of the player position, and you can switch from session data to historic data and back, at any given time. So lets look at some real table action to see how these options can be implemented.
As you can see, the exact data in the main Holdem Indicator window can is shown in the HUD right on your table. This includes ALL profile stats, position, outs and pot odds displays. But as you can see here Holdem indicator gives you the option to use the HUD or not, and if you want it with or without the main window.
As mentioned, you can choose whatever stats you like to be displayed in the HUD. If you want to keep your table clean looking with the least amount of clutter maybe just using VPIP and PFR until you get involved with that player, you can always just hover your mouse over that players HUD stats and the full story is right there for you. Stats when you need them, but not making the table too cluttered.
You may also find that the position and color of the HUD is not to your liking, well Holdem Indicator allows you to change the color of the font to work well with the background of your table. You can also move each players HUD to a more convenient location on the table. If you don’t like the standard yellow or orange I used here, well you have a full array of web colors to use.
And don't forget those invaluable profile icons that let you categorize your opponents in a glance show in the HUD as well. And if you are resizing your table on-the-fly the Holdem Indicator HUD changes with your table while keeping the same relative position. Also, don’t forget that you can switch back and forth from historic stats to sessions stats just by clicking the h button in the main HI window. Whatever you have selected there will show in the HUD and can be handy especially when you collected past data on your opponents.

Online poker hasn't really been around for too long, maybe a decade or so, but as soon as it was, clever programmers were thinking about designing poker tools that could not only produce a winning edge for a player, but stretch the meaning of fair play.
Well the best poker software tools have survived an era of audacious claims made by many fly-by-nighters. Poker software like Poker Tracker, Holdem Manager and Tournament Indicator have achieved real staying and power market share largely due to following the rules set out by online poker rooms such as Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars, yet they have displayed evidence of creating clear advantages for those who use the tracking software.
