Profiling classifications in poker software PDF Print E-mail

When I first started using Tournament Indicator was also when I started getting the MZone poker tournament strategy videos. I found that I was consistently "stuck" in the calling station (telephone). After watching the first 3 or 4 videos my game changed some and now I am "stuck" in the duck - my numbers rarely change. Presumably, an ultimate goal is that you want to be able to change that rating by playing different styles and so represent different "faces" to your opponents. Also, presumably, different actions have different impacts on the different ratings.

Is micro-limit the best level to play at? PDF Print E-mail

From a new Holdem Indicator user: How many of you think that micro-limit is the pits? That it’s the worst place to play at because the tables are littered with overaggressive donks who don’t know that they’re doing half the time? I do, or at least I did. Then I started using Holdem Indicator and simply tightened up and watched the profiles of my opponents more closely. I started picking out predictable, costly errors.

Here are some ramblings of poker players that have trouble playing against poor players. The poker math of the situation will always revert to that player giving it back. He may be up temporarily, but I can tell through my profiling poker software that he won`t be around for long. My job is to get him to pay me for sitting at my table. There is one thing that every poker player has – Ego.

Why is it that we always keep hearing about "certain big-name" is a great poker player because they have great math skills? Is math really that important to poker, more than player instincts? It’s been such a raging debate for years and years. Some think it is essential, and to some it’s just plain overrated.

This is actually a profiling video using some very well know, futuristic characters. Mix Gus Hansen into this and there are some rather interesting - I should say fascinating - concepts discussed here.  When learning how to become profitable in online poker, it is critical you use a logical approach that is fundamental based upon odds and math. You may even compare this winning logic to Commander Spock of the Starship Enterprise whose character would no doubt be a force at the poker table.

Poker calculator review quotes:

"You would think with guys like Gus Hansen and Phil Ivey tossing it up on Full Tilt every night with hundreds of thousands of dollars at Omaha tables there would be a demand for such an enormous product, but outside of the two big sites, Omaha tournaments are rather thin. That being said, next to hold'em it is the choice of games and is a natural step for players to expand their skill and game repertoire. So from here, it only has UP to go." - from Omaha Indicator
